 Hey Brian,

You always interject interesting stuff in class and on the blog. I too wonder what will be with this cell phone platform. So I went straight to the source. Here’s a video of Sergey Brin introducing the Android. Enjoy!

Though I am not by any means an Apple or iPhone lover, i think that they made leaping progress in interface that no one can match right now. Many manufacturers are trying to catch up to the user-friendly interface of the iPhone including Google (Android) and Nokia (s60 touch – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISIQkDSWJpA). That is not to say that Android or S60 wouldn’t catch up to Apple, but as for now Apple has the best touch interface with the most user-friendliness. I would never switch my current phone to a current iPhone, though, mainly due to the fact that the OS my phone runs, S60, is opened for developers and has had an SDK out for a long time which translates into an abundance of free and paid software that enhance the device’s ability. I agree that it will be interesting to watch phone manufacturers in the next 12 to 18 months, with the SDK for iPhone coming out and possible S60 Touch as well as Android phones.
